Dongyi Sourcing Ltd is searching potential candidates for bellow position: Position Name: Fabric Developer – Jersey.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and develop new jersey fabrics according to the company’s requirements.
• Innovate and experiment with yarns, knitting techniques, and finishes to create unique fabrics.
• Ensure the fabrics meet the specified performance standards (e.g., stretch, recovery, drape).
• Conduct market research to stay updated on the latest trends in jersey fabrics.
• Analyze competitor products and consumer preferences to guide fabric development.
• Attend trade shows and exhibitions to gather insights and inspiration.
• Work closely with designers to understand their vision and translate it into fabric designs.
• Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to source materials and ensure the feasibility of fabric production.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure seamless integration of new fabrics into the manufacturing process.
• Develop and implement testing protocols to ensure fabric quality and durability.
• Address any quality issues that arise during the development or production phases.
• Maintain detailed records of fabric specifications, test results, and production notes.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for all developed fabrics, including specifications, test reports, and production guidelines.
• Prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders to showcase new fabric developments and trends.
