Responsibilities & Context
Develop a strong understanding of fabric properties, types, and production processes to meet the specific needs of clients.
Manage sourcing and procurement of fabrics, ensuring quality standards and cost-effectiveness.
Prepare and analyze cost sheets for fabric sourcing, production, and delivery to ensure accurate pricing and profitability.
Coordinate with production teams to ensure the timely delivery of fabric orders, maintaining seamless communication.
Maintain detailed records of fabric specifications, costs, and supplier information for future reference and procurement.
Possess a strong understanding of fabric types, qualities, and intended uses, ensuring proper selection based on customer requirements.
Exhibit excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with suppliers, vendors, and customers effectively.
Stay up-to-date with market trends and consumer preferences to ensure a competitive edge in fabric selection.
Analyze sales data to create reports that will help guide procurement decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
Manage supply chain logistics and inventory control to ensure the availability of required fabrics.
Work in a fast-paced environment, consistently meeting deadlines for fabric deliveries and order fulfillments.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
