Additional Requirements
- Age At least 40 years
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in LPG plant operations, production, or utility management; experience in the LP Gas, energy, or petrochemical sector will be preferred.
- At least 3–4 years of supervisory experience with proven ability to manage multidisciplinary technical teams and oversee large-scale plant operations.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, bottling line management, supply chain coordination, distribution logistics, and customer relations.
- Ability to prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production reports, analyze operational data, and implement process improvements for higher efficiency and safety.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management capabilities with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills with sound understanding of plant safety, compliance, and regulatory standards (DoE, BSTI, Explosives Dept., etc.).
- Commitment to maintaining safe operations, environmental compliance, and continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities & Context
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee all plant operations and manufacturing processes to achieve production targets within set timelines.
- Lead day-to-day operations of the LPG plant to ensure continuous, safe, and efficient production.
- Track production performance, analyze data, and optimize resource utilization—including manpower, machinery, and materials—to maximize efficiency.
- Supervise and lead production staff, monitor attendance, productivity, and discipline, and provide necessary training to enhance performance and safety awareness.
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production reports and ensure data accuracy for management review.
- Oversee preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely repair and servicing of all equipment to minimize downtime.
- Manage raw material inventory, coordinate with procurement to ensure timely supply, and monitor material consumption and wastage.
- Implement and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for plant operations, safety, and quality assurance.
- Work closely with the Quality Control team to ensure consistent product quality and compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Plan and manage distribution operations to ensure timely and optimized delivery to all outlets and customers.
- Oversee vehicle deployment, routing, and logistics efficiency, ensuring customer satisfaction and quick issue resolution.
- Collaborate with the marketing and sales team to support brand visibility, operational planning, and market expansion initiatives.
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions to promote accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Lead recruitment, supervision, and development of all factory-level staff.
- Coordinate with finance, procurement, and administration departments for operational and reporting purposes.
- Prepare and submit periodic operational, financial, and performance reports, and actively participate in management meetings for strategic planning and decision-making.
