Requirements

Education

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in any discipline from any accredited University.
  • MBA in HRM or PGDHRM will be an added advantage.
  • Experienced candidates from a similar industry may apply where educational qualifications may be relaxed.

Experience

  • 10 to 12 years

    Manufacturing (FMCG), Multinational Companies, Automobile

  • Candidates who don’t have experience in the field of Factory HR Administration do not need to apply for this position.

Responsibilities & Context

The Factory Manager position is responsible for the overall operation and restoring administrative system in order. The responsibilities are as below;

  • Plan and coordinate administrative procedures and systems.
  • To maintain and update the organograms of the Factory yearly basis or as per instruction of the management.
  • To fill the vacant positions by recruiting, interviewing, and testing the candidates and train personnel to allocate responsibilities, office space, stationaries, and other necessary equipment for smooth performance.
  • To monitor daily attendance and leave of all employees of Factory and prepare attendance and leave reports at regular intervals and submit them to the supervisor.
  • To maintain and control all administrative activities related to HR & Admin Central warehouse.
  • To monitor inventory of office supplies and purchase new materials with attention to budgetary constraints.
  • To monitor the access control of employees and overtime schedule sheet to ensure adequate overtime hours and submit the report to the superior.
  • To purchase stationaries, first aid kits, medicine, and toiletries for the factory based on consumption and requirement and ensure the dispatch is the same as per requisition so that smooth stationeries supplies will be available.
  • To monitor the stationaries and toiletries consumption and submit the report to the supervisor monthly basis.
  • To ensure the smooth and adequate flow of information within the factory by efficiently handling all incoming and outgoing documents and others to keep records accordingly.
  • To keep and maintain all the records of local procurements and submit them to the supervisor.
  • To ensure effective housekeeping including work areas neat and orderly by maintaining factories and floors free of slip and trip hazards, and removing waste materials and other fire hazards from work areas to control or eliminate workplace hazards.
  • To secure premises and assets, personnel by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel, surveillance equipment; inspecting equipment, and access points; and permitting entry.
  • To monitor and maintain that all employees are using safety gear and equipment as or where applicable and adhere to safety and security procedures of the factory to control or eliminate workplace hazards.
  • To maintain good rapport with local affairs, Govt. & non-Govt. officials including regulatory bodies, law enforcing authorities, etc. on industrial matters.
  • To keep abreast of relevant labor legislation, political situations, and other factors that could affect the operation.
  • To sell the scape materials on time and keep the record and data properly.
  • To maintain documents and bills systematically to stop the potential abuse.
  • To ensure the availability of groceries for lunch & snacks and closely monitor the process to ensure the quality and delivery system is on time within the budget.
  • To maintain the cleanliness of the premises.
  • To Monitor and maintain the safety & security system of the premises.
  • To ensure the maintenance process of the factories, furniture fixtures machinery, and equipment are functioning properly as well to avoid any incidents.
  • To take appropriate initiative with the advice of a superior if there is any kind of problem related to production issues.
