§  Proven experience in community engagement, behavior change communication, and grassroots mobilization.§  Strong skills in developing multimedia content, including print, digital, and audiovisual materials.§  Experience working with vulnerable populations, particularly children and adolescents, in low-resource settings.§  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders and foster collaborative relationships.§  Strong project management and coordination skills, with experience in leading community-based initiatives.§  Familiarity with the use of data to inform and adapt communication strategies.§  Knowledge of educational challenges faced by out-of-school learners and their families.§  Experience in using digital tools and social media for community outreach and awareness campaigns.§  Ability to work effectively in multi-cultural environments and with multidisciplinary teams.§  Strong advocacy skills and experience in influencing policy and practice.

Responsibilities & Context

Jagorani Chakra Foundation (JCF) is a national voluntary social welfare organization. JCF is going to implement ‘Let Us Learn (LUL): Enhancing educational access and alternative learning opportunities for out-of-school children and adolescents in remote areas’ Project supported by UNICEF. To ensure the quality implementation of the project, JCF intends to recruit project staff from qualified candidates of Bangladeshi nationals.C4D Strategy Development:§  Design and implement a comprehensive C4D strategy to promote the importance of education, reduce dropout rates, and encourage the enrollment of out-of-school children.§  Develop targeted communication and behavior change campaigns for different project components, including PPE,  ABAL, Remedial Camps, and Skill development.Family, Community Engagement and Mobilization:§  Engage with communities, parents, and local stakeholders to build awareness and address barriers to education.§  Coordinate community events, outreach programs, and local advocacy campaigns to foster a supportive environment for the project’s objectives.§  Train and mobilize community volunteers and peer educators to disseminate key messages at the grassroots level.Content Development and Communication Materials:§  Develop culturally appropriate and context-specific communication materials, including brochures, posters, radio scripts, social media content, and videos, in collaboration with the creative team.§  Ensure that communication content is inclusive, gender-sensitive, and tailored to reach diverse audiences, including parents, adolescents, and community leaders.Partnerships and Stakeholder Coordination:§  Establish and maintain relationships with government agencies, NGOs, community organizations, and media outlets to amplify the project’s messaging and reach.§  Work closely with the project team to align communication activities with overall project goals and timelines.§  Represent the project at meetings, forums, and workshops related to education advocacy and C4D.Monitoring and Evaluation of Communication Efforts:§  Track the impact and reach of communication campaigns through surveys, focus groups, and other feedback mechanisms.§  Use insights from monitoring data to refine communication strategies and improve community outreach efforts.§  Document success stories, lessons learned, and best practices for internal and external sharing.Advocacy and Policy Support:§  Advocate for the adoption of policies and practices that support out-of-school learners, in collaboration with government and local authorities.§  Develop advocacy briefs and position papers to influence policy changes that promote inclusive education and skill development.

Compensation & Other Benefits

Consolidated Tk. 73,205 per month and other admissible benefits as per organizational policy as well as the project.
