Requirements
Education
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering
- Diploma in Engineering in Civil Engineering
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Experience
- 4 to 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM)
Additional Requirements
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in construction, with expertise in Civil Construction, steel structures; prior experience in solar based construction should be considered an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques, project management, and structural engineering principles.
- Hands-on experience with construction site tools, equipment, and safety standards.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings.
Responsibilities & Context
Kisan Botanix Limited is a leading agro-based company in Bangladesh, dedicated to modernizing agriculture through innovative solutions. We are planning to start some exciting projects like warehouse/cold storage facility in Bogra. We are seeking an experienced Field Engineer to oversee the day-to-day operations and ensure the smooth execution of construction activities on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring they are executed according to project plans, timelines, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and contractors to maintain effective communication and workflow.
- Monitor the installation of steel structures and other construction elements, ensuring compliance with engineering and safety standards.
- Oversee the procurement and use of materials, ensuring optimal use and reducing wastage.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure work is progressing as planned and address any issues promptly.
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for all site workers.
- Maintain daily records of site activities, including work progress, material usage, and any issues encountered.
- Support the team in achieving project milestones and preparing reports for stakeholders.
