Uttaran is a people-centered organization using a rights-based approach to alleviate poverty, diversify livelihood opportunities and empower poor communities of Bangladesh.

Uttaran invites applications for the vacant position titled- Field Facilitator for the “Empowering Climate Migrants and At-Risk Communities: Enhancing Access to Public Resources, Services, and Policy Influence for Resilience Building” Project

Reports to: Project Coordinator, Uttaran

Job Responsibilities

• As the Field Facilitator er you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective implementation of project activities. Key responsibilities include:
• Community Engagement and Planning
• Strongly engage with group formation and arrange regular basis awareness sessions.
• Conduct regular community meetings/sessions at ward and union levels to mobilize and engage beneficiaries.
• Assist in thorough needs assessments and beneficiary consultations to identify field opportunities and challenges
• Foster strong relationships with project beneficiaries and community members, promoting their active participation and ownership in project activities.
• Arranging community consultation to gather feedback, address concerns, and ensure the project’s alignment with community needs.
• Implementation and Coordination:
• Conducting day-to-day implementation of project activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
• Communicate with community leaders, and beneficiaries to ensure smooth project execution.
• Organize training sessions, workshops, and capacity-building activities to enhance beneficiaries’ skills and knowledge.
• Collect data to measure the effectiveness of project interventions.
• Networking and Partnerships:
• Collaborate with local level government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and other relevant stakeholders to leverage resources and expertise.
• Represent the organization in local level relevant forums, workshops, and meetings.
• Stakeholder Engagement
• Communicate and collaborate with municipality and union level government representatives and other key stakeholders to gain support for project activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, community leaders, and partner organizations.

Compensation & Other Benefits

• Salary: 22,800 BDT to 24,500 BDT per month (Including Festival bonus, PF, Gratuity and others). Actual Salary is depending as per currency rate gain/loss.
