The Field Facilitator will support implementation and field level coordination/facilitation in the project catchment areas. The position will be familiar with a broad cross-section of activities, resources, and techniques associated with the implementation of the planned interventions. This position holder must also have worked knowledge of and tangible experience in activity planning and implementation and fostering partnerships in cash-based project interventions, shelter, livelihood and WASH etc.

  • Support implementation of cash-based project interventions, livelihood, shelter, agriculture, food security and WASH in the targeted areas.
  • Lead community mobilization including organizing and participating in community sensitization meetings, beneficiary selection, monthly planning and review meetings.
  • Initiate and lead dissemination of appropriate information on cash-based project interventions (cash for work, cash for livelihood), hygiene practices, sanitation, and safe water consumption.
  • Support and ensure community participation in designing, planning and implementation of project activities.
  • Facilitate ongoing identification and monitoring of participants to ensure efficient and cost-effective implementation.
  • Lead capacity building initiatives on cash-based project interventions (cash for work, cash for livelihood) and WASH for project participants.
  • Ensure quality through regular monitoring of activities, check appropriate standards and procedures are observed in implementing activities.
  • Undertake commodity handling and distribution to intended participants in the most accountable and transparent manner.
  • Network and collaborate with all local level stakeholders in implementing interventions and facilitate smooth transition for sustainability.
  • Promote local level advocacy on livelihood, nutrition, and WASH issues.
  • Adhere to BRAC values as well as the promotion of gender justice and women’s rights.
  • Understand and adhere to equity, diversity, gender, child safety and staff health and wellbeing principles.
  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
