Responsibilities & Context

Field-Based project implementation & coordination – 60%

  • Oversee all fisheries and livelihood components of the project.

  • Conduct surveys to identify eligible rightsholders.

  • Organize and facilitate field training for participants.

  • Provide technical support on fisheries and livelihood activities.

  • Analyze fisheries and livelihood data at cluster and household levels.

  • Develop customized household business plans.

  • Share and promote new agricultural technologies with rightsholders.

  • Design and deliver Individual Growth and Achievement (IGA) training plans.

  • Monitor IGA progress for each participant.

Advocacy, Networking & Communication -10%

  • Establish networks with government service providers and NGOs.

  • Enhance market linkages for project participants.

  • Organize knowledge-sharing sessions with other livelihood stakeholders.

Project reporting and documentation -10%

  • Monitor and supervise project activities in the field.

  • Prepare a service map of the camp area.

  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and systematic documentation.

  • Collect case studies, visual documentation, and best practices for reports.

Materials Development -10%

  • Develop flip charts & different awareness materials for field-level training.

  • Develop training module on fisheries training.

Others -10%

  • Participate & involved with seasonal programs (Ramadan, Qurbani, Winterization, etc.) activities.

  • Take initiatives to ensure the security of project staff and participants during the intervention.

  • Support in the procurement of materials like requisition, follow-up etc.

  • Facilitate donor/external visits & ensure that recommendations of visitors are addressed.

  • Ensure CFRM in the project area & office.

  • Willing and able to travel frequently for extended periods and to remote areas of the projects.

  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the program’s goals on safeguarding implementation and as well as Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

  • Being a member of Islamic Relief as a child-friendly organization, it is the core responsibility and obligation of each staff member to understand and obey IR Child Protection & PSEA Policy and respond accordingly as and when required.

  • Perform any other duties assigned by Supervisor.
