Requirements

Education

Master Degree preferably in Social Sciences/Economics/development studies/anthropologies/statistics/International Affairs/Public Health/MBA / Management or any other relevant discipline.

Experience

  • At least 5 years

Additional Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of program management, coordination, and donor liaison in both development and emergency context preferably in INGO.
  • Experience in donor engagement and working with a wide range of donors.
  • Technical knowledge and expertise in any of the ACF sectors; WASH, Nutrition and Health, Food Security and Livelihood / Climate Change /Civil Society engagement, and gender, will be added advantage.
  • Professional experience in people management, follow up and coordination of teams, planning, project cycle management, monitoring and evaluation, and experience in monitoring of financial and budgetary procedure.
  • Basic knowledge on HR, LOG & FIN management
  • Excellent communication, presentation and coordination skills;
  • Advanced analytical skills and ability to produce clear, concise analysis and draw recommendations.
  • Good command of English (spoken and written).
  • Ability to believe and follow ACF’s principles and values

Responsibilities & Context

Under the supervision of the Field Coordinator, the Field Manager will support the successful planning and implementation of ACF programs through regular coordination with the Program Team and support department team (HR, LOG & FIN).

Objective 1: Coordinate overall implementation and the quality of the program at the field level.

  • Monitor potential program delays or hindrances and timely report to Field Coordinator, suggesting corrective measures considering Programme team inputs and monitoring of Budget Follow Up (BFU).
  • Ensuring the synergy, coordination and efficient flow of information between Program Managers, technical and Support services (Logistics, Finance, HR, and program).
  • Ensuring the implementation of technical recommendations from internal audit, while working with technical Program Managers, and support team.
  • Identify needs and contribute to strategy and the positioning of ACF in Cox Bazaar Provide regular in-sights to senior management team on the areas and arena of advocacy, develop plan of action and implement

Objective 2: Manage the Program and support teams at the Cox’s Bazar.

  • Maintaining conducive and professional relations with team members and promoting a strong team spirit
  • Engage in technical/operational guidance, conflict mediation/management, HR situation follow up (recruitments, induction, action plans, appraisals, leaves, disciplinary measures)
  • Monitoring the implementation of the ACF Charter and prevention of frauds or abuses of power and inform the Field Coordinator.
  • Work closely with the Field Coordinator in providing capacity building and coaching to Program staff on project management best practices and other emerging needs/gaps

Compensation & Other Benefits

  • Gross monthly Salary BDT 144,000/-
  • Festival Bonus: 02 basic salary per year. Provident Fund: 7.5% of Basic Salary.
  • End of Contract Benefits: End of Contract Benefits: 30 days of salary per year of service (No eligibility pro-rated under 1 year)
