ASTHA is a Swiss Government funded project which will be supported by Rupantar and will be implemented in Netrakona, Mymensingh & Sherpur districts by Sabalamby Unnayan Samity (SUS).SUS is looking for a dedicated proactive “Field Officer” to play a crucial role in the successful implementation of the project in a specific geographic area. The Field Officer will be responsible for arranging and overseeing project activities in the field. This role is critical in ensuring that project objectives are met, timelines are adhered to and quality standards are upheld.

Job Description of Field Officer (FO):

  • The applicant will be responsible for organizing and conducting regular meetings, workshops, consultations, training and other project events with targeted stakeholders in designated geographic areas. This includes collaborating with project team members, partners and stakeholders to ensure the effective execution of field activities.
  • It is his/her responsibility to guarantee that project activities at the field level align with project objectives and adhere to timelines and quality standards.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, such as: government agencies, community leaders, NGOs, political actors, elected representatives, youth and civic groups are vital. It is his/her role to ensure their support and active participation in project implementation.
  • He/she will have to form and develop various forums, platforms or committees at the field level and have to ensure their active participation.
  • Maintain regular communication with key project beneficiaries including youth groups, civic groups, women and marginalized groups collect relevant data, incident reports and updates regarding contextual issues.
  • Proper documentation and record-keeping of field activities are essential. This involves maintaining records such as photos, beneficiary profiles and success stories, he/she will also contribute to the preparation of event reports and other project deliverables.
  • Assist in the implementation of monitoring and evaluation plans, including data collection, verification and analysis.
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of financial records and supporting documentation related to the specific activities you oversee.
  • Identify potential risks and challenges in project implementation and propose mitigation strategies. Promptly report any incident, issues or concern related to field operations to the project management team.
  • Ensure the effective implementation of regular meetings and awareness campaigns while maintaining coordination with relevant stakeholders and beneficiaries from the grassroots community.

Compensation & Other Benefits

BDT: 45000/- (Negotiable).
