Proven record of meeting demanding deadlines.

Responsibilities & Context
Job Context:
Khulna Mukti Seba Sangstha (KMSS) being a sub grantee has been implementing “USAID Bangladesh America Maitree Activity (BAMA)” (Strengthening Climate-smart Vegetable and Native Chicken Value Chain in Bangladesh (C4VNCVC) funded by USAID and managed by BRAC. The project duration is from November 2024 to November 2026. The project is been implemented in Three Upazilas (Phultala, Tero-khada & Digholia) of Khulna District. The incumbent will work as the solo Finance & Admin Officer for the project. The project thematic Area is Agriculture and Food Security.
Job Location: Khulna District (Any of the Fultala, Terothada or Digholia Upazila)/KMSS Head office.
Responsibilities:

Manage financial and administrative operations for the project in Phultala, Tero-khada, and Digholia Upazilas.

Prepare and project quarterly fund requirements in coordination with the focal person, ensuring timely fund availability in the project bank account.

Maintain financial records, including cash book, ledger book, and other subsidiary ledgers, using Tally ERP 9 or a standard accounting system.

Prepare financial statements, including inflow/outflow reports and budget variance analysis, for management review.

Follow up on fund transfer statuses and address any issues to maintain financial flow.

Monitor and verify physical inventory, including store items, project materials, and equipment.

Provide administrative support, including procurement, logistics, inventory, and office management for smooth project operations.

Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports within stipulated time frames.

Support audits by maintaining accurate records and addressing external and internal audit queries.

Maintain accurate financial records, budgets, and expenditures, ensuring compliance with KMSS, USAID, and BRAC guidelines.

Ensure timely processing of cash, cheque, and other payments with proper documentation and reporting to the Finance Director (FD).

Ensure compliance with USAID regulations, particularly on cost principles, procurement, and allowable expenditures.

Organize logistics for meetings, training sessions, and workshops, ensuring cost-effectiveness.

Perform additional administrative tasks and assignments as directed by KMSS Management.

It is noted here that, individual income tax will be deducted per month as per govt. law of Bangladesh.
