Responsibilities & Context

Resource Integration Centre (RIC) is a national NGO since 1981 in Bangladesh. RIC is implementing “Improved income security through strengthened intergenerational groups for older people in Bangladesh (ISIGOP)” funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), Federal Republic of Germany (FRG), Bangladesh in Pirojpur (Sadar), Narsingdhi (Sadar and Palash), Dhaka (Khilgaon) for the period from August’ 2024 – March’ 2026. RIC is seeking applications from potential candidates.

Major Responsibilities:  Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with BMZ/RIC financial regulations. Prepare financial reports following project guidelines. Manage budgets and monitor expenditures to ensure alignment with project financial plans. Conduct bank reconciliations and manage cash flow.Provide logistical support for meetings, training sessions, and other events. Maintain office supplies and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order. Handle administrative tasks and manage correspondence. Assist in the preparation of administrative reports and documentation. Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets.Assist with HR tasks such as payroll processing, employee records management, and recruitment support. Ensure compliance with labor laws and organizational policies.Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth financial and administrative operations. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including donors, partners, and government agencies.

Academic Qualifications: Bachelor’s/Master‘s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or relevant subject. Professional certification is preferred.

Experience and Other requirements: At least 3-5 years of experience in finance and administration, preferably in the NGO or development sector.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in financial software and MS Office, virtual office operations, excellent organizational and communication skills, and attention to detail. Able to work under pressure.
