  • Age 30 to 35 years
  • At least 3–5-year(s) experience in accounts and administrative work
  • having the knowledge about getting project approval from NGOAB and other related activities.
  • Both male, female and others are encouraged to apply
  • Good command in MS Office, Tally Software, internet and other IT applications
  • Good team management and interaction capacity will be preferred

Responsibilities & Context

Dhaka with frequent field visits

Karmojibi Nari (KN) is going to appoint 02 (two) Finance and Admin Officers for the Projects of the Organization. The duration of the employment is 01 (one) year. Interested candidates are called to apply for the post of Accounts and Admin Officer.

Job Responsibilities:

Under the overall supervision of Additional Executive Director and direct supervision of Project Coordinator, the successful candidate will be responsible to work in implementation of the projects by carrying out regular accounts and administrative work.

The successful candidate will be assigned to the following tasks:

  • S/he will maintain and update day-to-day books of accounts and registers properly.
  • S/he will follow the principles and the policy of the management to decide on the mode of payments.
  • S/he will make the bank cheque ready only for the amount approved in the expenditure proposal.
  • S/he will make all the entries in cashbook, ledger as per the accounting principles.
  • S/he will make all payments on the basis of proper bills and vouchers and deduct Vat & Tax according to the Govt. rules.
  • S/he will take appropriate cost effective measures following the principles of accounting in all expenses.
  • S/he will be responsible for the approved amount cash in hand and will never keep excess of the approved amount in hand.
  • S/he will make budget comparison in every month and keep the program personnel and the management aware of it.
  • S/he will make financial statement of the project expenditures in every month.
  • S/he will maintain the register of fixed assets procured for the project and ensure the proper utilization of those.
  • S/he will assist in procurement of equipment, services and logistics as per needs.
  • S/he will keep/preserve documents of all financial transactions (vouchers/bills) to produce to the donor.
  • S/he will extend all cooperation to the audits either internal or external.
  • S/he will maintain the register of fixed assets procured for the project and ensure the proper utilization of those.
  • S/he will ready to support other initiatives of Karmojibi Nari (KN) as and when required.

Compensation & Other Benefits

  • Facilities will be provided as per organization & Project Policy after confirmation.
  • Two days’ weekend (Friday & Saturday)
