Responsibilities & Context

Jagorani Chakra Foundation (JCF) is a national voluntary social welfare organization. JCF is going to implement ‘Let Us Learn (LUL): Enhancing educational access and alternative learning opportunities for out-of-school children and adolescents in remote areas’ Project supported by UNICEF. To ensure the quality implementation of the project, JCF intends to recruit project staff from qualified candidates of Bangladeshi nationals.

1. Financial Management:Develop and manage the project’s budget in coordination with the Project Manager and finance team.Monitor and control project expenditures to ensure alignment with the approved budget.Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.Oversee cash flow management, including the timely processing of payments and disbursements.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, including donors.Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and donor requirements.2. Budgeting and Forecasting:Lead the budgeting process for the project, working closely with project staff to develop realistic and achievable budgets.Monitor budget performance and provide regular updates .Conduct financial forecasting and provide recommendations for budget adjustments as needed.Assist in preparing budget proposals for new funding opportunities.3. Compliance and Audit:Ensure that all financial transactions and practices comply with organizational policies, donor requirements, and local laws.Coordinate and support internal and external audits, ensuring timely resolution of audit findings.Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation to support audit and compliance processes.Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard project assets and prevent fraud.4. Administrative Management:Oversee the project’s administrative functions, including procurement, logistics, office management, and human resources.Ensure that administrative processes are efficient, transparent, and compliant with organizational policies.Manage the procurement of goods and services, ensuring that procurement practices are competitive, transparent, and in line with donor requirements.Oversee office management activities, including the maintenance of office supplies, equipment, and facilities.5. Human Resources Management:Support the recruitment, onboarding, and management of project staff in collaboration with the HR department.Ensure that personnel records are accurately maintained and that staff contracts comply with local labor laws and organizational policies.Oversee payroll processing and ensure the timely payment of salaries and benefits.Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures to project staff.6. Risk Management:Identify and assess financial and administrative risks associated with the project.Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks.Regularly review and update risk management plans in collaboration with the Project Manager.7. Capacity Building:Provide training and support to project staff on financial and administrative procedures.Foster a culture of financial accountability and transparency within the project team.Develop and deliver capacity-building sessions on budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance.

Compensation & Other Benefits

Consolidated Tk.49,846 per month and other admissible benefits as per organizational policy as well as the project.
