Responsibilities & Context

Fixed Asset Management:

1. Asset Tracking & Management:

Maintain accurate records of all fixed assets, including equipment, machinery, tools, and vehicles.

Implement asset tagging, classification, and tracking systems to monitor usage, location, and condition.

Conduct regular physical verification and audits of fixed assets.

2. Asset Acquisition & Disposal:

Oversee the procurement process for new assets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with company policies.

Manage the disposal of obsolete or damaged assets, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to regulations.

3. Asset Valuation & Depreciation:

Track and calculate depreciation of assets based on company policy and accounting standards.

Ensure timely updates of asset values in the accounting system.

4. Maintenance Scheduling & Coordination:

Collaborate with the maintenance department to schedule regular inspections and repairs of machinery and equipment.

Ensure assets are maintained in optimal working condition to minimize downtime.

5. Budgeting & Cost Control:

Assist in preparing the annual fixed asset budget and monitor expenditure to ensure it aligns with the approved budget.

Identify opportunities for cost reduction related to asset procurement and maintenance.

Labor Contract Management:

1. Contract Management:

Prepare, review, and negotiate labor contracts with subcontractors, ensuring adherence to legal and company requirements.

Monitor the performance of contractors to ensure compliance with agreed-upon terms and conditions.

2. Labor Resource Planning:

Work closely with project managers to determine labor requirements for each phase of the project.

Ensure sufficient skilled and unskilled labor is available to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

3. Vendor & Contractor Relations:

Establish and maintain strong relationships with labor contractors and agencies.

Address and resolve disputes or issues related to labor performance, payment, or contract terms.

4. Cost Control & Budgeting:

Manage labor budgets, ensuring that labor costs stay within project limits.

Track and report labor expenses and identify areas for cost-saving or efficiency improvement.

5. Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

Monitor labor productivity and quality of work, ensuring that project milestones are met.

Prepare reports on labor utilization, costs, and contract performance for senior management.
