Job Context:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Manager – Food Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the formulation and development of new food products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. This is an urgent vacancy, and we are looking for someone who can start immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new food product formulations based on market trends, customer feedback, and company objectives.
  • Conduct research and experiments to improve existing products and create innovative new offerings.
  • Ensure all formulations comply with food safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, production, and quality assurance, to ensure successful product development and launch.
  • Conduct sensory evaluations and product testing to refine formulations and ensure product quality.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of formulations, processes, and testing results.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging ingredients, and new technologies to incorporate into product development.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to product formulation and production processes.
  • Provide technical support and training to production teams to ensure successful implementation of new products.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in food product development and formulation.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices.
  • Proven experience in developing successful food products from concept to launch.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines.
