Additional Requirements

• 3-5 years of progressive years of proven coaching experience, preferably at the collegiate level Certification from a recognized football coaching body (e.g., AFC, FIFA, or equivalent) is a plus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire players while maintaining discipline
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel for tournaments
• Familiarity with university-level sports programs is an advantage
• Passion for fostering student development through sports

Responsibilities & Context

Key Responsibilities

1. Coaching and Training

• Design and implement comprehensive training programs for university football teams
• Develop players’ technical, tactical, physical, and mental skills
• Monitor individual and team progress to optimize performance

2. Program Management

• Organize and oversee regular practice sessions, matches, and tournaments
• Collaborate with the university’s sports department to schedule events and manage facilities
• Ensure player safety and adherence to sportsmanship and discipline

3. Team Building

• Recruit and nurture talented players from the student body
• Promote inclusivity and teamwork within the football program
• Foster a positive and encouraging environment for student-athletes

4. Administration

• Maintain records of player attendance, performance, and development
• Prepare and submit reports on team activities and achievements
• Assist in budgeting and procurement for football-related resources
