Education

• Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Commerce, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Commerce, Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Commerce

Experience

• At least 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  Shipping, Logistic/Courier/Air Express Companies

Skills :

• Strong English verbal and written skills as this would be a key competency requirement for coordinating with overseas associates regularly and extensively.
• Excellent industry knowledge
• Creating and implementing sales plans & meeting sales goals
• Presentation skills
• Management and leadership skills
• Five years of experience as a Sales Manager in the logistics & shipping Industry·
• Three to five years of industry field sales experience·
• Proven track record of positive sales performance·
• Age: Flexible for candidates having exceptional track record.

Responsibilities & Context

Established in 1972, we are the first logistics company in Bangladesh.

We are looking for a Head of Sales who will be responsible for delivering topline results against the company’s revenue targets.

Should have strong leadership skills to guide and mentor team members, set clear expectations, and hold them accountable for their performance. Should also be able to inspire and motivate team members to reach their full potential and be able to work with cross-functional colleagues towards shared goals.

• Preparing revenue and cost budgets
• Mentoring and coaching sales executives
• Experience with scheduling tools.

Compensation & Other Benefits

This position comes with compensation package and a performance bonus commensurate to performance. He will be based at the company head office in Dhanmondi, Dhaka with a requirement of travel within Bangladesh.
