Responsibilities & Context
Job Summary: This is an important entry-level position responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of front desk and administrative services. The role involves professionally managing visitor interactions, handling communications, maintaining records and supporting senior management with scheduling and coordination. Additionally, the position oversees front desk security, document dispatch, and compliance with office procedures.
Major responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Greet and welcome all clients, visitors, guests and delegates into the front office professionally. Attend to their requirements and provide courteous service, referring them to the related authority/official to portray a positive image of the organization.
- Receive phone calls and provide accurate information in person.
- Keep information/ records/ messages for the Executive Director and other senior staff and deliver them to the relevant person at the right time.
- Maintain employee attendance, movement register and visitor entry.
- Maintain all records, security and telecommunications systems related to front desk operations.
- Responsible for dispatching & receiving all types of official letters & documents & delivering them to concerned persons at the head office, branch offices, area offices, zone offices and relevant project offices.
- Maintain diaries/ to-do lists for the Executive Director about his different meetings, workshops, visitor appointments, etc. and remind him in a timely manner.
- Arrange appointments for the Executive Director and other high officials.
- Circulate instructions from management to employees as required.
- Distribute office orders/ notices among staff at branch offices, area offices, zone offices, head offices and project offices.
- Any other duties as assigned by the management.

- After confirmation: BDT 18,466 – 20,966 per month (16,000 – 17,000 during the probation period).
