B.Sc/ Diploma in any subject from a reputed academic institution.

Experience

  • 1 to 2 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Software Company, IT Enabled Service

Responsibilities & Context

  • Greeting and Welcoming Guests: The front desk executive is often the first point of contact for visitors, clients, or customers. She will greet them warmly, answer any questions they may have, and direct them to the appropriate person or department.
  • Answering Phone Calls and Emails: The front desk executive will manage incoming calls and emails, provide information, take messages, and transfer calls to the appropriate staff member.
  • Providing Information and Assistance: The front desk executive will offer assistance and information to guests or customers, such as directions, and operating hours. She may also handle inquiries about products or services offered by the organization.
  • Administrative Support: The front desk executive assists with various administrative tasks, such as maintaining records, filing paperwork, and updating databases. She may also handle billing, invoicing, and processing payments.
  • Security and Access Control: The front desk executive will be responsible for monitoring access to the premises, issuing visitor badges, and ensuring security protocols are followed.
  • Handling Complaints and Concerns: She will address guest or customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally, striving to resolve issues to the satisfaction of all parties involved.
  • Maintaining Cleanliness and Order: The front desk executive will ensure that the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times. She may also assist with basic housekeeping tasks as needed.
  • Coordinating with Other Departments: The front desk executive will collaborate with other departments within the organization to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintaining Inventory: The front desk executive may be responsible for managing inventory of supplies such as stationery, brochures, and other materials used at the front desk.
  • Entry and Record-Keeping: She will input data into computer systems, update records, and maintain accurate and up-to-date information related to guests, clients, appointments, or reservations.
  • Event Coordination: In facilities such as conference centres or event venues, front desk officers may assist with event coordination, including scheduling, room setup, and liaising with event organizers to ensure all requirements are met.
