Job Context

Ambala Foundation a non-profit and non-political organization which MRA License no: 00350-01308-00086, has been working in Bangladesh since 1994 with over one million people, their families and communities at the grass root to national level in the field of microfinance, human rights, governance, health, education, income generation, environment, women and children development, cross cultural communication etc. To achieve the organizational goal couple of energetic, positive and presentable multitasking personnel needed for front desk operation of Head Office.

Responsibilities:

  • She should greet and welcome visitors and members in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Address and resolve inquiries, complaints or issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Answer direct phone calls, emails, and other correspondence.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
  • Manage check-ins and check-outs for members and visitors.
  • Schedule appointments and manage booking of facilities and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of visitor and guests attendance.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of events and programs.
  • Share all important papers/message/ Issues with Admin dept. regularly.
  • Report any security concerns or suspicious activities to the appropriate authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • To maintain security by following procedures and controlling access.
  • To update appointment calendars and schedule meetings/appointments.
  • To execute other official task, assigned by management time to time.
  • Provide administrative support as and when required.
  • Good typing knowledge in both English & Bengali (Bijoy classic & Unicode).
  • Should have strong working knowledge in Microsoft Office Programs: MS Word, MS Excel, Photoshop, Power point, & MS Access etc.
  • Any other tasks as assigned by the authority.

Compensation & Other Benefits

  • Contract Period: One year. After successful completion of the contract period, she may be confirmed for the next contract and salary may be revised.
  • Benefits: Festival bonuses and other benefits will be applicable as per organization policy.
