- Effective communication and report writing skills.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other software for data collection and analysis.
Responsibilities & Context
Job Context:
Role of this Position: The Gender & Advocacy Coordinator will support the integration of a gender perspective into the project’s work to ensure that gender is mainstreamed and strengthened. The position will assist in developing appropriate advocacy strategies to ensure the delivery of impactful and strategic advocacy at the grassroots, national, and international levels.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide technical guidance and advice to the program team on gender and advocacy mainstreaming within the project.
- Engage with relevant stakeholders (e.g., government institutions, national and international development organizations) to ensure collaboration, synergy, and knowledge-sharing on gender and advocacy issues.
- Conduct research and assessments on gender issues for CCDB and other stakeholders at both national and international levels.
- Organize in-person or online training sessions on gender issues for staff members and wider audiences.
- Document and disseminate case studies, reports, and other relevant information related to gender issues for the project.
- Preparation of quality report for the project quarterly, six monthly and annually.
