  • Candidates having Internal or Lead Auditor certification in ISO 14001 or ISO 45001 shall add value (not mandatory).
  • Any other professional certification in security management shall add value (not mandatory)

Responsibilities & Context

  • Overall responsibility of safety, security, protection, Fraud and Vigilance of the entity.
  • Conduct physical security assessment (PSA) and operational risk assessment (OSA).
  • Offer risk rating of country, region & location and recommend countermeasures to ensure security of people, assets and processes in regular consultations with Operations teams.
  • Liaise with local Post and Govt. authorities with respect to security concerns and issues within the region.
  • Prepare Security budget of the entity. Plan and manage monthly, quarterly & annual budgets for the security equipment
  • Ensure expenditure is as per the risk profiling of the given region & optimal utilization of resources thus ensuring cost effectiveness.
  • Integrate security procedures to ensure qualitative, cost effective & value added security services. Introduce cost savings initiative in terms of security management.
  • Ensure all critical service levels are met & contractual obligations complied to, with deviations reported through incident report framework.
  • Conduct detailed investigation of security breaches & submit report for the same to Business Unit Head, Security Head & HR and Legal.
  • Collaborate in implementing security policies and data protection laws in business.
  • Assist Operations and HR in corporate governance for the region.
  • Coordinate with the Projects and Operations Team for any new rollout to provide inputs required with respect to Security installations, Security budgets and related requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with company information security policies and procedures applicable to the role.
  • Responsible for the deployment and performance of security personnel. Ensure smooth functioning of security operations such as ID administration, log review and monitoring.
  • Conduct regular safety drills & ensure communication of necessary safety measures to all employees.
  • Conduct awareness training among all employees, contractors and vendors within the given region.
  • Conduct Annual Risk Assessment Audits in other regions as per the Annual Audit schedule.
  • Coordinate and assist with the implementation of office security operations and activities to ensure protection of Employees, Applicants, physical assets and information assets, while ensuring optimal use of personnel and equipment.
  • Collaborate in implementing security policies and data protection laws in business with the Operations Team and Partners.
  • Keep a track of the Regional political security scenario and possible threats to Business, assets, employees, etc. and update the Regional Operations team accordingly in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with the Regional Head and Operations Head to formulate the Business Continuity Plan and Crisis Management Plan for the complete business units in the Region.
  • Shall adhere to environment health and safety policy/objectives and guidelines of the organization.
