Responsibilities & Context

• Ensure overall operational activities of Washing Quality Assurance Department;

• Plan and monitor of Daily / Monthly Production Target.

• Guide to executive, supervisor so that the Quality Standard is being met by Forecasting and reviewing the result.

• Set the priorities, combinations of the wet and dry process according to the plan & target.

• Give continuous guidance to the washing staff for machine utilization and target daily production.

• Involvement in monitoring of materials (Chemicals) stock for uninterrupted operation.

• Give the full support to the Research and Development for Department.

• Make a continuous study of work improvement and give report to the higher authority.

• Ensure that all safety and right operation of the machine are followed by the team.

• Conduct regular meetings with all employee’s once in a week.

• Communicate with maintenance department to ensure good running conditions of the machines & equipment for uninterrupted workflow.

• Communicate with the merchandiser & buyer for sample development & bulk production.

• Develop Appropriate recipe, Minimize Cost and Calculate the costing & submit wash cost for both (in-house & outside) order.

• He will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the garment washing process. This includes both dry and wet processes such as whispering, scraping, laser treatments, and chemical washes.

• Ensure bulk production feasibility and required quality for dry and wet processes.

• Responsible for approving garment dry processes (whisker, scraping, laser, etc.)

• Participate in PPMs (pre-production meetings) and provide comments on dry process issues.

• Monitor daily reports on quality, measurements, and shade issues.

• Attend meetings on lot approvals and highlight garment washing chemical effects.

• Involve in the measurement process control system and monitor laundry measurement consistency.

• Control processes in the production area and rectify issues before final stages to minimize reprocess, re-wash, and rejection.

• Review and approve shade bands before submission to the factory.

• Provide approval on shade bands to the factory.

• Control production processes and resolve issues promptly to avoid reprocess or rejection.

• Participate in the first bulk review and provide approval.\

• Prepare analysis reports on washing performance.

• Share comments for improvement during bulk or future processes.

• Align laundry measurement controls with finishing measurement processes.

• Monitor shade consistency during finishing and provide guidelines for shade-wise packing based on customer or commercial requirements.

• Address daily finishing and washing issues and offer guidance.

• Update relevant washing and sewing personnel on bulk issues.

• Involve in development stages to understand customer wash demands.

• Closely monitor shade blankets and shrinkage issues.
