Responsibilities & Context
- Job Context :
We are looking for a potential General Manager for Factory Operation to oversee the production of a large Aluminium extrusion factories of KAI-ALTECH Group, who will play the strategic as well as the leadership role for controlling the factories’ employees as a leader and operating the overall factory in such a way that all operation can be driven in proper manner with reporting to the Higher Management as and when required.
- Job Responsibilities :
(1) Ensuring proper and centralized planning of production to meet the delivery deadline.
(2) Ensuring Quality of Products as per Specifications.
(3) Receiving the production requirement and making production plan as per Target of Production and oversee the production works of particular shift accordingly.
(4) Preparing Manpower Schedule as per sector & work volume and manpower setting accordingly and assign the duty to workers as per the production plan.
(5) Supervising the production plans on the regular basis and implement to ensure order delivery with timely execution till the final stage of delivery.
(6) Good Knowledge to prepare Time and Action flow chart to maintain the delivery.
(7) Time to time communication with the Supply Chain Management Team for retained materials and other aspects and Sales Team for analyzing the demand and supply of the products of the market.
(8) Ensuring the availability & storage of quality raw materials in a cost-effective manner.
(9) Assisting Line Manager in achieving maximum customer satisfaction in accordance with organization plans.
(10) Meeting the targets and those of the team as a whole.
(11) Directing the development of plans for the organization to achieve targets.
(12) Preparing Production Schedule weekly/Monthly/Yearly and Working accordingly.
(13) Maintaining and improving mechanisms for manufacturing and all organization activities, including surveying and measuring the manufacturing operations, process, outcomes and profitability and disseminate feedback to the appropriate internal entities.
(14) Supporting to all other departments in matters related to manufacturing, e.g. procurement of materials.
(15) Developing strategic operating plans that reflect company’s long-term objectives and priorities.
(16) Maintaining Data Sheet daily & keeping record of all data specifically.
(17) Preparing daily, weekly and monthly production report with proper record keeping and submitting necessary reports if required by the Management.
(18) Maintaining overall organization responsibility for performing all duties in compliance with related manufacturing legal/statutory regulations, professional duties, responsibilities and obligations and insert as applicable e.g. Best Practice Guidelines, ISO certification, BSTI etc.
(19) Effectively managing labour requirements/manpower planning, production planning, stock management, plant modifications and developing innovative systems and processes utilizing all available technology.
(20) Ensure proper planning, organizing, directing, controlling and monitoring of overall operation & administrative function of the Factory.
(21) Ensuring the good condition of vehicles and maintenance in proper and timely manner and reducing unnecessary maintenance cost.
(22) Ensuring proper working conditions & compliance requirement at work place are maintained.
(23) Ensuring maximum utilization of manpower, machine, materials etc.
(24) Delegating authority and responsibility to team with supervision, accountability and review.
(25) Setting up an example for team members of commitment, manufacturing process expertise, work ethics and habits and personal character.
(26) Adhering to all organization policies and procedures.
(27) Interacting and co-operating with all members of the organization, its suppliers and customers.
(28) Checking all type of Wastage and minimizing wastage as lowest as possible.
(29) Ensuring maximum utilization of manpower, machine, materials etc.
(30) Maintaining good liaison with local Govt. authorities, People & others.
(31) Other duties and responsibilities as entrusted by the Higher Management time to time.
- Additional Requirements :
(1) Must be self-driven and possess good work ethics.
(2) At least 5 years hands on experiences as a Head of the Factory.
(3) Understanding of business functions as well as factory.
(4) Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development.
(5) Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
(6) Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.
(7) Preference will be given to the Applicants having experiences in the Aluminium Manufacturing Company.
(8) Technically very strong in Pre-production, production, planning, quality, efficiency, etc.
(9) Ability to understand the importance of on-time delivery.
(10) Must have the skill on manpower management and must have huge experience and skills to deal with a huge number of factory employees.
(11) Must have Interpersonal skill and excellent communication skill.
(12) A fair command over English is essential and ability to mix up in a multicultural environment is a must.
(13) Must have Leadership quality and patience to listen any say of the employees.
(14) Expected to work as and when necessary to meet the needs of the team and your targets out of regular office hour.
(15) To be the part of taking the special projects as and when required by the company beyond your regular job role.
(16) Will give the preference to those Candidates, who will reside beside the factory premises.
