Responsibilities & Context

Job Context:

The incumbent shall efficiently manage the overall functions and activities of the yarn dyeing facility by developing strategies and setting directives with regard to production, maintenance, material management, administration, Delivery, environmental control, gov’t affairs, employee welfare, and safety matters.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day administration and general services to all the departments involving to communications with head office, logistics, factory HR & office administration, housekeeping, transport, catering, constructions, office maintenance, and utilities.

Planning and effective utilization of resources like manpower, materials, machines, and methods as per the Annual Business Plan.

Maintain contact with relevant Govt. offices and vendors, visit and solve related issues with various Govt. and private agencies on an ongoing basis.

Organize and coordinate production in order to meet commitment in terms of target/volume, deadline, cost, and product standard conformity.

Encourage creativity and continual improvement to meet the set targets with regard to quality standards and production in line with an annual business plan, enhanced productivity, and cost effectiveness.

Identify and initiate corrective actions required on the basis of process flow measurements and coordination for implementation.

Make necessary provisions for the implementation of the Factory Automation Program.

Assist and guide the Maintenance Department for the preparation of the Preventive Maintenance Schedule and for quick break-down maintenance.

Responsible for Technical and Financial Audits and reviews for the Manufacturing Division.

Liaison HR Department relating to deployment of the right number of employees, work distribution, and review of performance or HR related affairs.

Control of transport, VAT and excise-related documents etc.

Maintaining liaison with Head Office and other relevant authorities (internal and external).

Prepare annual budget for Plants.

Undertake any other task from time to time as entrusted by the Management.
