  • Proven ability to manage and scale a travel business effectively.
  • Strong financial and budget management expertise.
  • Industry Knowledge & Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in airline reservation systems (Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo, Portal).
  • Strong command over Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with ERP and financial software for business operations.
  • Communication & Customer Relations:
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Bangla (verbal and written).
  • Strong client relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to resolve challenges and handle high-pressure situations.

We are looking for an experienced General Manager (GM) to oversee and lead our organization’s operations, strategic growth, and financial performance. This role requires strong leadership, business acumen, and expertise in travel and tourism management. The GM will be responsible for driving business expansion, enhancing customer service, managing financial operations, and ensuring overall efficiency in the company’s travel services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership & Business Growth:
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and profitability.
  • Set company objectives, monitor market trends, and identify expansion opportunities.
  • Build strong partnerships with airlines, hotels, and travel service providers.
  • Operational Management:
  • Oversee and manage all departments, including ticketing, visa processing, tour operations, sales, and finance.
  • Ensure seamless execution of travel services, maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.
  • Streamline operational processes for increased efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Sales, Marketing & Client Relations:
  • Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to attract new clients.
  • Maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, government agencies, and travel partners.
  • Expand the company’s brand presence in local and international markets.
  • Financial & Budget Management:
  • Monitor the company’s financial performance, including budgeting, revenue generation, and cost control.
  • Oversee the Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP) of IATA and ensure compliance with airline financial regulations.
  • Ensure timely financial reporting, auditing, and risk assessment.
  • Team Leadership & Human Resource Development:
  • Lead and supervise a team of professionals, including department heads and key executives.
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance evaluation to enhance employee productivity.
  • Foster a dynamic and motivated work environment.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management:
  • Ensure compliance with IATA regulations, airline policies, visa rules, and government travel laws.
  • Address legal, financial, and operational risks efficiently.
  • Stay updated on global travel regulations and industry standards.
