Qualifications & Skills:

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to manage, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and event planners.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data and market insights to drive decisions.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Develop, implement, and monitor sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
  • Design and execute strategies to increase occupancy, group bookings, and corporate partnerships.
  • Manage and oversee all revenue-generating activities, including corporate bookings, leisure sales, group sales, and event bookings.
  • Collaborate with the operations and marketing teams to ensure optimal pricing and promotions.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to optimize room rates and maximize revenue.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, partners, and key stakeholders in the hospitality industry.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, including corporate accounts, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions), and travel agencies.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure profitable deals.§ Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to ensure they meet their individual and team targets.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching to improve productivity and sales performance.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.§ Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns aimed at increasing visibility and driving sales.
  • Plan and execute sales events, trade shows, and networking events to showcase the resort and generate leads.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, preparing regular updates for senior management.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for improving sales performance based on data analysis and market feedback.
  • Track customer satisfaction and ensure service excellence is maintained.
