Requirements
Education
- B.Sc. in Mechanical / Electrical/ Chemical / Industrial Engineering or equivalent discipline.
- MBA in Operations Management will be an added advantage.
Experience
- At least 20 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Fisheries, Animal/Plant Breeding, Hatchery, Dairy
Additional Requirements
- Age At least 45 years
- Minimum 20 years of experience in industrial plant operations.
- Experience in Solvent Extraction, Edible Oil Refinery, or Sugar Refinery is mandatory.
Responsibilities & Context
- Lead and manage all operations of Solvent Extraction, Refinery, and Raw Sugar Plants.
- Plan, organize, and control production processes to achieve efficiency, productivity, and quality targets.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize resource utilization and reduce wastage.
- Supervise engineering, production, maintenance, and quality control teams.
- Monitor raw material consumption, yield, and energy efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with management for budgeting, planning, and cost control.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead workforce development, team motivation, and discipline within the factory.
