Responsibilities & Context

A Reputed Jute industry is going to recruit “General Manager – Production” for Factory unit located in Khulna.

Job Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the entire production process, from raw jute to finished jute products.

• Developing and implementing production plans, ensuring efficient resource utilization and meeting deadlines.

• Managing production costs, optimizing resource allocation and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

• Monitoring production quality, ensuring compliance with standards and implementing corrective actions.

• Managing raw materials and finished goods to optimize production and minimize waste.

• Supervising and coordinating with workers & staff to ensure efficient production.

• In some cases, a GM may also be responsible for sales and marketing efforts, depending on the specific company structure.

• Perform any other duties as assigned by Management from time to time.
