- Must have experience handling woven products specially for shirts.
- 10 to 12 years of relevant professional experience in garment manufacturing with at least 5 years in a senior role.
- Highly motivated and result-driven individuals.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and drive strategic business objectives.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale manufacturing and driving excellence.
Responsibilities & Context
- Be responsible for the end-to-end execution of orders, ensuring achievement of key performance indicators as set by management through effective coordination across all departments.
- Oversee smooth running of all unit functions and operations including resource availability, production planning, process improvements, execution, quality assurance, cost control, and timely delivery to ensure factory profitability.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all production processes to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Monitor and review daily performance targets against build-up plans, ensuring optimal man-to-machine ratio, consolidating unit contributions, addressing bottlenecks and changeovers, and driving achievement of budgeted targets.
- Collaborate closely with merchandising teams to assess style changes, technical requirements, and establish TNA to align raw material readiness and production timelines with delivery targets.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying and minimizing complexities, optimizing processes, and enhancing quality standards.
- Oversee ongoing factory evaluations to ensure compliance with technical capabilities, quality, safety standards, buyer requirements, and efficient manpower utilization.
- Prepare and monitor the annual manpower budget; review and control operational costs to remain within approved budgets.
- Ensure effective coordination across teams to meet organizational objectives in production, quality, and shipment timelines.
