Candidate must have 15+ years experience in a Textile Mill larger than 38000 spindles.

Responsibilities & Context

Direct controlling Spinning Department in a large Textile Industry.
Ensure that quality standards are well communicated throughout the company.
Direct monitor pilot runs before bulk production begins, providing strategies and directives on product quality.
Ensure that each quality assurance process meets the parameters established by the CEO / Head of Plant and Managing Director.
Manage the troubleshooting of any issues that may arise in bulk production, directing the solutions to production team.
Ensure preventive measures are taken to ensure issues do not recur.
Monitor and control all material quality issues and highlight to management.
Prepare supplier performance feedback based on material quality reports and circulate to management.
Ensure that proper processes are followed throughout the production chain to ensure quality.
Ensure that staff and workers are trained on the quality requirements of the customer.
Analyze and monitor quality reports from material inspection, cutting, sewing and finishing directing and managing solutions for any systemic and process quality issues.
Provide analysis of quality reports and highlight key issues to management.
Ensure that audit procedures prescribed by the buyer are followed by RQS (Requirement of Quality System) Manager.
Monitor training of staff on quality and nurturing awareness of quality.
Ensure that quality assurance teams work towards continuous improvement of quality of products and minimizing rework due to quality.
Manage and organize manpower budget for spinning department.
Ensure retention and growth for key personnel in spinning department.
Ensure that product safety requirements are met.
Prepare and update Standard Operating Procedure for the spinning Department.
Monitor spinning production and ensure optimum utilization of man, machine and material in the spinning section.
Discuss with planning and cutting department on daily basis regarding input requirement.
Lead safety, quality and compliance activities in workplace to ensure zero Non Compliance.
Ensure cost reduction by applying all technique to minimize defect and reduce extra hour work.
Understand the buyers’ requirement and implement the necessary procedures in the production department.
Develop & implement new technology & modern techniques to bring upon continuous improvement to enhance productivity & efficiency.
Monitor of productivity, materials, inventory & reconciliation of individual style.
