Requirements

Education

MBA/ M.Com in Finance & Banking from any reputed University of Bangladesh or abroad. Professional degree (CA, CMA, ACCA) will be treated as additional qualification.

• Long working experience with various bank high officials like MD, DMD level.
• Sound experience of granting loan for group of companies.
• Good interpersonal relationship with various banking senior executive.

Responsibilities & Context

• The GM/DGM will be responsible for planning, organizing, leading, implementing and controlling all banking related activities of the company (all unit). Other responsibilities are as follows.
• Proposal submission to banks for new loan sanction.
• Financial cost minimization.
• All kinds of commercial assignments related to LC.
• Any assignment related to Banking activities and to communicate with different Banks.
• L/C opening, documents retirement and any other LC related jobs.
• LC application & LCAF fill up and send to Bank for LC opening.
• Cash flow and treasury controls, loan payment, and minimizing fund cost.
• Performance analysis, profitability analysis, and cost-benefit analysis of project proposal.
• Monitor and manage financial risks while ensuring adequate internal controls.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and insightful financial reporting to stakeholders.
• Expertise in financial analysis, risk management, and corporate finance.
• Enough knowledge to ensure compliance with NBR, BIDA, and Credit Ratings.
• To communicate with different govt. regulatory bodies.
• Any others jobs time to time assigned by the authority.
• Daily clearing cheque deposit to Bank and dishonored cheque collection.
• Monitoring of all types of DNCC, BDA, DCCI, CCI & E, BB and RJSC.
• Manage Bank Loan and to take steps for re-payment of the same.
• Accounts opening, Signatory Changes & activation of dormant accounts (if any).
• Annually, half yearly and periodically up gradation of KYC of all accounts.
• Mortgage formality completion (Bank Law firm and NG land officer).
