Responsibilities & Context

• lead & mentor the finance team fostering a culture of high performance accountability and continuous improvement .
• Develop , implement and monitor financial planning strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives
• Conduct financial analysis to identify risks and opportunities , proving recommendations for improvement
• Prepare financial forecasts budgets and variance analyses to support decision making processes .
• Over see the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports including income statements , balance sheets , cashflow statements and other relevant financial metrics .
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles , standards and regulations (eg.IAS, IFRS) as well as industry specific requirements
• provide strategic financial guidance to senior mgt and other stake holders to support business planning and decision making .
• Analyze financial data and market trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction revenue enhancement and overall business improvement .
• Manage the budgeting process , including the development , monitoring and control of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Implement cost control measures to optimize resource allocation and improve operational efficiency .
• Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies .
• Collaborate with internal audit and compliance teams to maintain high standards of financial integrity and transparency .
• proven exp ( typically – 8-10 yrs or more ) in a senior financial mgt role with in the textile or garments manufacturing industry.
• Strong leadership , communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.
• Strategic thinking and analytical mindset with a focus on driving business results and solving complex financial challenges .
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP Systems and advanced Microsoft excel skills
• Understanding of textile industry of dynamics , market trends and regulatory requirements is hightly desirable.
