M.Sc. / B.Sc. in Industrial Production Engineering (IPE) / Textile Engineering / Apparel Manufacturing from any reputed university.

Age 35 to 45 years
Well behaved, well organized and potential.
At least 12 years’ experience in large scale knit composite garments industries and minimum 3 years in similar position.
Candidate living near Narayanganj will be added as advantage.

Responsibilities & Context

Responsible for Barnali Textile & Printing Industries (Pvt.) Ltd and Barnali Collections Ltd.
Responsible for strategic monitoring of all activities of garments production from cutting to shipment and Coordination with all related departments for smooth operations of production.
Should have vast knowledge and experience about modern high tech factory operations and production.
Should be capable to take responsibility of existing two modern factories containing 34 production lines and new upcoming high tech project containing 12 to 14 production lines.
Acknowledgment of the order quantity in advance for making the production plan and to liaise with the Management and giving necessary directives to the Production Manager of the unit regarding the production plan.
Adopt best industrial engineering practices in every possible area for better quality, efficiency, productivity and ensure optimization of resources.
Implement KPI on each and every level of production process.
Vast knowledge on Lean Manufacturing process.
Sound knowledge on SMV and efficiency calculation.
Manage & direct activities congenial to ensure achievement of production targets and guide production teams to attain targets for the respective unit within given time-frame.
To give necessary directives to the Production/Sample team to make a sample of a particular buyer in order to get the approval of mass production
Direct and control the day-to-day operations of the production department ensuring that the production plan is adhered to by customer requirement.
Direct and control the improvement of production processes & reduce all types of wastage by proper planning.
Reducing manpower by implementing technology and modern machineries.
Identify production line blockages and take necessary steps to solve.
Ensure daily, weekly & monthly production as per planning.
To make necessary arrangements of training for the subordinates in order to increase production capability by following modern production procedures.
Monitor, control and utilization of man, machine & material for optimum productivity.
Maintain quality product for each style and no compromise with quality at everywhere (ensure shipment with zero defects).
Supervise production floor for highest level of productivity given by management.
Establish effective communication with cutting and finishing & Quality team responsible personnel to fulfill the order quantity and avoid any short shipment.
To ensure proper planning to assure smooth operation within the team.
Should have knowledge on new high tech production engineering implementation and operations.
Arrangement of briefing, training, coordinating, controlling, and taking the timely decision.
Enhance productivity by implementation new technology and policy making.
To take necessary measures with the Admin, HR & Compliance Dept. in order to uphold human rights and development of human resources
Ensure safety, quality and compliance activities in workplace.
Monitor report on production, maintenance, manpower, quality, safety, consumption, monthly stock, and production cost.
Must have experience to handle minimum 40 Lines Knit Garments.
Carry out any other jobs as assigned time to time.
