Education

- Social media management experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience working in the conservation and or development sector.
- A passion for wildlife conservation and the development of national capacity for wildlife conservation.
- Puts the organisation first, has a strong strategic mindset, and is not driven by projects.
- Great team player, friendly, and enjoys working in, and motivating, small/medium-sized teams.
Responsibilities & Context
Role and Responsibilities:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Grant Writer to join our team and contribute to our mission by securing funding to support our organisation and projects.To join our team, you will share our team’s determination to make game-changing impact for nature, be exceptional at what you do, be detail-oriented, highly organised, good at developing relationships, and have a positive attitude.

Key responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and maintaining relationships with current and potential funders.
- Research and identify grant opportunities from foundations, government agencies, and other funding sources, creating and prioritising a database of opportunities. Work with the CEO and Programme Manager to align potential donors to WildTeam projects.
- Develop and write compelling grant proposals, including narratives, budgets, and supporting documents, tailored to specific funding requirements.
- Collaborate with CEO and programme staff to gather necessary information and data for proposals.
- Manage the grant submission process, ensuring that all deadlines are met and that proposals are submitted in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of grant submissions, follow-up communications, and funding outcomes.
- Monitor and report on the progress of funded projects, gathering financial and programmatic content from the team to create well-organised reports whilst ensuring compliance with grant and reporting requirements.
- Attend regular status meetings, providing weekly, monthly, quarterly annual status reports to CEO and Board.
- Lead on the development of communications collateral e.g. website content, promo media/films, social media content, quarterly and annual reports, WildTeam project concept notes, to support donor recruitment and reporting.
- Lead on WildTeam’s website content update and periodic refresh.
- Manage WildTeam’s social media accounts with a focus on regular posts directed at donor audiences.
Report To: CEO
Team: 1 year contract, with possible renewal
Location: Dhaka office, with regular travel to field offices close to the Sundarban
