Responsibilities & Context
We are looking for a detail-oriented and honest Factory Accounts Officer to manage daily financial transactions, cash handling, and documentation at our factory. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate recording of all factory-level expenses, wages, and local procurements while maintaining strong internal controls.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day factory accounting operations, including cash and bank transactions.
Prepare and verify payment vouchers, cash receipts, and supporting documents for all factory expenses.
Handle petty cash management, ensuring error-free cash inflow and outflow within the factory premises.
Process worker wage sheets, overtime calculations, and related disbursements accurately and on time.
Coordinate with store and production departments to record local purchases, store sales,and waste sales proceeds.
Maintain daily cash position reports, expense summaries, and monthly financial statements for factory operations.
Ensure proper filing of vouchers, bills, and invoices for internal and external audit purposes.
Perform bank reconciliation and ensure all banking transactions are recorded accurately
Enter data into accounting Tally software/ERP systems and generate required reports for management review.
Support the Finance Manager in budgeting, cost monitoring, and compliance activities
Any other task given by Management.
