Position Overview:

Are you a student passionate about hospitality and guest relations? Join our team as a Guest Relations Officer (GRO) Intern and get hands-on experience in a luxury hospitality environment. This internship is the perfect opportunity to develop your communication and problem-solving skills while providing outstanding service to guests from around the world. You’ll work closely with our Guest Relations team, gaining valuable insight into the world of hospitality and guest management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Welcome & Interaction: Be one of the first faces our guests meet! Greet and assist guests during check-in and check-out, help answer their questions, and provide information about the hotel and local attractions.
  • Personalized Guest Service: Support the Guest Relations team in providing personalized service to our guests, making sure their stay is memorable. This includes assisting with guest requests, preferences, and handling any inquiries with a smile.
  • Concierge Assistance: Help guests explore the local area by providing information on nearby attractions, restaurants, and events. You’ll also assist with arranging reservations, transportation, and offering personalized recommendations.
  • Problem Solving: Encounter a guest with a special request or concern? You’ll assist in providing prompt solutions with the support of your team, ensuring that every guest leaves with a positive experience.
  • Event Coordination Support: Assist in planning and coordinating special events, such as birthdays, anniversaries, and VIP experiences. Help create those special moments that make our guests’ stay unforgettable.
  • Learning the Industry: Gain experience in various aspects of guest relations, from hospitality etiquette to working with hotel management software. You’ll learn the inner workings of luxury service while working closely with our experienced team.

    Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business, Communications, or a related field. This internship is perfect for students looking to gain practical experience in the hospitality industry.
  • People-Oriented: You love working with people and have excellent interpersonal skills. You enjoy making others feel welcome and are always ready to help.
  • Positive Attitude: You are enthusiastic, approachable, and eager to learn. You have a “can-do” attitude and love taking on new challenges.
  • Organized & Detail-Oriented: You’re good at juggling multiple tasks and enjoy staying organized. You pay attention to the little things that make a big difference for our guests.
  • Team Player: You’re comfortable working as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to ensure guests receive top-notch service.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills are essential. Fluency in English is required, and additional language skills are a plus—especially if you’re interested in connecting with international guests.
  • Tech-Savvy: You’re familiar with basic computer programs (like Word and Excel) and are quick to pick up new systems. Experience with hotel management software is a bonus but not required.  What’s in It for You:
