Requirements

Education

Master of Science (MSc) in Agriculture
Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Agriculture

Experience

At least 7 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Multinational Companies, Chemical Industries

Additional Requirements

Age At most 50 years
Only Male

Having relevant Experience but in different educational trac can also apply.

Candidates with relevant specialization in Seed Technology/Seed Processing will be preferred.

Practical experience in processing vegetable, paddy, maize, and other crop seeds.

Experience in operating and managing modern seed-processing machinery will be an added advantage.

Willing to frequent travel throughout Bangladesh is mandatory

Responsibilities & Context

Plan and supervise overall seed processing activities for vegetables, paddy, maize, and other crop seeds.

Ensure timely cleaning, drying, grading, sizing, treatment, packing, and dispatch of seeds.

Prepare processing plans according to production targets, seasonal demand, and sales requirements.

Monitor seed quality, including purity, germination, moisture, vigor, and seed health.

Ensure proper lot-wise identification, traceability, and segregation of seed throughout the processing cycle.

Supervise seed treatment and ensure proper dosage, uniformity, and safe handling of treatment materials.

Ensure proper weighing, packing, labeling, coding, and sealing of finished seed products.

Monitor processing recovery, wastage, material consumption, and overall production efficiency.

Ensure proper operation, maintenance, and utilization of seed-processing machinery and equipment.

Coordinate with Seed Production, R&D, Quality Control, Supply Chain, Warehouse, and Sales & Marketing teams.

Manage raw seed, processed seed, and finished seed inventory and ensure proper storage conditions.

Ensure compliance with approved SOPs, quality standards, seed regulations, and company policies.

Supervise and guide processing staff, operators, and workers to ensure productivity and discipline.

Monitor processing costs and identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce operational costs.

Maintain accurate records and prepare regular reports on processing, stock, quality, recovery, and wastage.

Ensure workplace safety, proper use of PPE, housekeeping, and environmentally responsible processing practices.

Identify and implement improved seed-processing technologies and methods to enhance quality and efficiency.

Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Management from time to time.
