Responsibilities & Context

  • Creating a synergy between the Agency/Retail/ILB Distribution and the CDO in order to ensure the respective needs and goals are satisfied within company policies and practices.
  • Supervising a large direct sales force comprising a portfolio of Division Offices, Agency Branches and others offices.
  • To Recruit, Manage, Monitor, Evaluate and Retain Team of Sales Manager, Agency Executives, Agency Supervisor, BM, UM and FAs.
  • Leading and motivating the Sales Force and removing any real or assumed barriers to achieve budgeted objectives.
  • Achieving production, manpower and quality budgeted objectives.
  • Directing, developing and coaching Agency and Unit Managers to recruit and build a professional Full-Time Agent sales force.
  • Proposing challenging budget objectives for the Agency Outlets assigned, in the context of overall Company goals and implementing strategies and action plans.
  • Applying the established management process to ensure effective implementation and follow up of Agency performance and identifying/implementing new necessary initiatives/campaigns and corrective actions in advance.
  • Ensuring that the Agencies provide high quality, reliable service to the customers during the initial sales process and throughout the life of each policy.
  • Applying the Company standards and procedures, which facilitates the effective, disciplined, compliant, ethical and consistent functioning of the Agency structure.
  • Initiate and manage Branding, Campaigns, Contests, Annual & occasional Events.
  • Develop Sales Policy (Non-contractual Benefits), monthly sales engagement campaigns and business case in coordination with the Distribution team & CDO.
  • Monitor and analyze the success of various sales campaigns and bonus initiatives, pinpointing underachievers
  • Create metrics and key performance indicators to assess the efficacy and efficiency of sales activities; share daily sales progress with the management and provide early signals in case of probability of deviation from monthly and yearly plan.
  • Co-ordinate with stakeholders develop digitally enabled agency channel (e.g. Agent recruitment, Analytics dashboard etc.)
  • Prepare & present to discuss and identify issues with different projects, manage activities, timeline, track progress, escalate when needed.
  • Help the business team prepare for the monthly meeting with the management; monitor the stakeholders’ progress toward the goals the management set.
