Job Context: We are looking for a result-oriented and driven Head of Business Development to increase the hospital’s revenue by identifying profitable business opportunities and developing long-term business growth strategies. He needs to lead the Business Development, Sales and Marketing team to achieve set targets.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Building solid relationships with doctors, customers, vendors, clinical and nonclinical professionals of the industry as well as sales and marketing teams.
  • Developing in-depth knowledge of company offerings to identify profitable business opportunities.
  • Directing marketing efforts by presenting market research and suggesting strategies to expand market research.
  • Assessing marketing, sales, supplier and vendor operations and recommending necessary improvements.
  • Researching emerging trends and recommending new offerings to satisfy patients’ needs.
  • Developing and managing strategic partnerships to grow business. Presenting business or marketing opportunities to management.
  • Promoting the hospital’s existing brands and introducing new products.
  • Analyzing budgets, preparing annual budget plans, scheduling expenditures and ensuring that the sales & marketing team meets their quotas and goals.
  • Researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans, understanding requirements, identifying market trends and suggesting system improvements to achieve the hospital’s marketing goals.
  • Training, scheduling, coaching and managing marketing and sales teams to meet sales objectives.
  • Take care of all the publishing material of the hospital namely information booklet, leaflets, handbills, brochures, and other related materials. These shall include the content, design, creativity and proofreading etc.
  • Plan and execute various marketing activities, for example, CMES, Workshops Camps, Patient Education Program etc.
  • Do regular fieldwork/ visit to understand and develop a sound marketing plan.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports to the Management about the activities assigned.
