Job Context

The company is looking for a suitable candidate for the full-time position of General Manager – Head of Business Development for its Head Office. This individual will lead and oversee all marketing activities related to our woven, flat, and circular knit products. The role involves developing and executing marketing strategies to expand the customer base, increase brand awareness, drive sales, and establish the company as a leader in the RMG industry internationally. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with all departments and assume a strategic role in the overall management of the company. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the products, a strong marketing background, and the ability to work collaboratively to achieve company objectives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote products, considering market trends, customer preferences, and business goals.
  • Identify prospective customers and strategize to onboard.
  • Create and execute marketing campaigns to highlight the features and benefits of fabric products, targeting various customer segments (e.g., B2B, B2C).
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, competitive landscape, and emerging trends in the fabric industry.
  • Plan and execute participation in industry trade shows, exhibitions, and events to showcase fabric products and build industry connections.
  • Manage a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and leadership to ensure the team’s success.
  • Collaborate with research, development and sales teams to align marketing efforts with product launches and sales goals.
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvements.
  • Foster strong relationships with existing and future key customers, gather feedback, and use insights to improve performance.
  • Conduct periodic meetings with operations to be abreast of issues related to existing orders, capacity, sales, and other critical issues.
