The ideal candidate should have a rich profile with reasonable years of commendable track record & wide range of experience in managing recovery team and its functions.Experience of working in FEED, CEMENT and other relevant industry under debt recovery environment would be an advantage.Capable to maintain high standards of financial management and record keeping.Strong interpersonal, Organizational, leadership and negotiation skillsMaintain up to date knowledge and understanding of appropriate regulations and internal policies and procedures in relation to debt recoveryComply and uphold the company’s policies and procedures, such as health and safety, IT, security, email and anti-virus policies and equality and fair treatmentHave an appropriate level of knowledge of all clients’ business, background and circumstances and fully understand the client requirements.Maintains the highest professional standards and able to multi-task, manage time effectively and keep calm under pressure
Responsibilities & Context
- Evaluation of credit worthiness of the agents and concentrate on Credit realization and Monitoring.
- Physical verification of customer establishment, references, bank record, and mortgage documents etc.
- Investigate all the documents of party’s credit history before opening the dealership.
- Formulation and maintenance of strategy regarding credit operations.
- Scrutiny of credit approval form and documentation check list.Coordination with the concerned department to optimize bad debts.Monitor business tend of the dealers and take corrective action if any suspicious activity/potential threat is Ensure that all the legal procedures are followed regarding credit recovery and ensure the recovery of over dues as per plan.
- Monitor & visit credit valuable customers on regular basis.
- Manage the local government authorities related to credit recovery.
- Coordinate with defaulter dealers to negotiate in executing legal strategy of enforcing legal claim.
- Engage with inactive dealers and his relatives/local businessmen to negotiate reasonable settlement on overdue amount.
- Negotiating with the defaulter dealers to come to an acceptable/reasonable settlement.
- Coordinate with company lawyer and local law enforcing agencies to execute Honorable Court Order against the defaulter agents including cooperation with local police station about warrant related issues.
- Liaise directly with clients, third parties and colleagues in departments to maximize collections performance whilst also ensuring good client outcomes.
- Provide technical and strategic advice about debt collection services and procedures, both externally and internally.
- Ensuring that bad debt provisions are maintained and write offs managed in line with the company’s policies and procedures.
- Ensure all file audits and monthly reviews are completed accurately and within agreed timescalesWorking alongside colleagues across the firm, minimise litigation for existing clients, resolve contractual disputes pre-proceedings and deal with contested matters up to trial.To achieve financial objectives including cash collection and billing.
- Prepare various reports e.g. Aging Report, Credit Utilization Report etc. and any other report required by the management.
- Be flexible to carry out any other reasonable task as requested by the Top Management.
