Responsibilities & Context

We are looking for a visionary Head of Fashion & Product Development to lead our creative endeavors and shape the future of fashion at Fabrilife.

Key Responsibilities

Trend Research & Forecasting :

• Research current fashion trends, forecast consumer demand, and ensure our collections are aligned with market insights.

Collaboration with Design Teams :

• Collaborate with the design team to develop innovative product ideas based on market research and customer preferences.

Creative Design Leadership :

• Oversee the creation of clothing patterns for mass production and provide direction on fabric, trims, colors, patterns, and textures.
• Design sketches for new products and approve tech packs with detailed specifications for manufacturing.
• Develop CAD sketches to present design concepts to stakeholders.

Production Oversight :

• Lead the prototype sample process, carry out fittings, and ensure the timely production of designs.
• Create cost sheets, product lists, and manage pricing strategies for new launches.

Vendor & Stakeholder Relationships :

• Maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, models, and customers to streamline the design-to-market process.

Team Development & Collaboration :

• Inspire and mentor design teams, creating mood boards and designing clothes for upcoming seasons.
• Collaborate with production and marketing teams to ensure seamless product integration.

Quality Assurance & Innovation :

• Oversee the testing of fabrics and materials to ensure the highest quality in all designs.
• Lead the development of sustainable, innovative practices for eco-conscious production.
