Requirements

Education

• Masters

Master’s in any discipline preferably in business background with good academic record. Sound knowledge and proven track record in managing foreign remittance business operations.

Experience

• At least 15 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  Banks

Additional Requirements

At least 15 (Fifteen) years’ and above experience in any reputed private commercial bank and present position should not be below First Vice President or equivalent.

Responsibilities & Context

• To implement and ensure specified annual plans and objectives of the department.
• Develop businesses by executing tie ups with new exchange companies (MTOs) and correspond with existing MTOs and their local offices for remittance and relations issues.
• Supervising the workflow and performance of the department
• To benchmark the outcomes with the targeted and planned performance
• To address and mitigate all the problems arises in day to day operations in a systematic way to avoid redundancy
• To follow up and supervise the level of customer satisfaction with the standards and to respond by performing the transactions in the time frame and addressing the shortcomings that may appear in the levels of the performance of the department.
• Ensure the policies, regulations and procedures related to the bank’s foreign remittance functions in accordance with the local, regional and international laws and regulations in the field of remittance services in order to achieve the safety of payments.
• Correspond with Sub agents i.e. NGOs, MFS.
• Correspond and comply with Bangladesh Bank and other regulatory bodies.
• Correspond and support with Bank Asia Branches and own exchange house and assist them in rendering prompt services to customers.
• Assist the ICT for modification and maintenance of remittance software.
