Responsibilities & Context
- Develop and implement the IT strategy aligned with the organization’s business objectives and goals.
- Establish and enforce IT policies, standards, and procedures to ensure effective and efficient use of IT resources.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust and secure network infrastructure to support business operations.
- Ensure the implementation of comprehensive cyber security measures to protect the organization’s data and systems from threats.
- Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and optimal allocation of resources.
- Build and lead a high-performing IT team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the IT function.
- Identify and mitigate IT-related risks, ensuring business continuity and disaster recovery plans are in place and tested.
- Ensure the organization’s IT practices comply with relevant regulations and standards.
- Work closely with other departments and executive leadership to understand their IT needs and deliver effective solutions.
