Requirements

Education

  • Post Graduate Degree in any discipline preferably in Business with no Third (3rd) Division/Class/CGPA from any reputed university.

Experience

  • 10 to 15 years

Additional Requirements

  • Age at most 50 years
  • Not more than 50 years (as on January 31, 2025). May be relaxed in case of exceptional candidates.
  • Minimum 10-15 years’ experience in any reputed bank or non-bank financial institution out of which at least 08-12 years practical exposure in special assets management or recovery related experience of a bank / FI. Preference shall be given to the candidates who are working as Head of Recovery Department in any reputed bank or NBFI. May be relaxed in case of exceptional candidates.
  • The candidate must have a clear idea about functions and major structure of investment recovery activities of a commercial bank or NBFI and knowledge of legal matters on recovery.
  • Additional Requirements
  • Strong command over MS Office specially Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Excellent inter personal skills along with excellent proficiency in Bengali & English.
  • Ability to work with Top Management.
  • Leadership and Team Management skills.

Head of Investment Recovery Department

Job Context

HFCL is looking for capable, confident and enthusiastic individuals for working as Head of Investment Recovery.

Recovery/Regularization/Rescheduling of Classified Loans/NPL portfolio in line with laws and practices

Job Responsibilities

Policies & Procedures:

  • Establish & implement SAM policies for management of classified Assets specially in Corporate and SME
  • Coordinate with internal & external legal counsels in dealing with classified accounts to ensure implementation of best legal strategies
  • Pro-actively participate to increase influence over the outcome of restructuring/settlement plans/solutions
  • Meet clients, other creditors, consultants, etc. as required for managing the SAM accounts (SME)
  • Budget for annual expenses of SAM to ensure recovery at minimum costs & maximum profit
  • External: Communicate with Regulatory bodies, creditors, external legal counsel, consultants and regulators
