Education

• Masters in Engineering (MEngg) in Mechanical Engineering, Diploma in Mechanical in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering

• Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology,Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology,Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology,Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology students will get preference

Responsibilities & Context

Responsible for Lithe Group of Industries Ltd, all sister concerns.

• As on Head of Maintenance responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of all electrical systems, equipment, and machinery in the facility.
• This role requires technical expertise in electrical engineering, troubleshooting, and maintenance planning to minimize downtime and enhance operational reliability.
• 100% honest in all aspects.
• Should have leadership quality and capable to handle of a team.
• Must have enough experience to handle of knit dye house machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Experience on various utility management of knitting, dyeing, garments & printing machineries with Generator & Boiler operation.
• Should have sound knowledge and practice of updated technology and cost controlling technique.
• Sound knowledge of Effluent Treatment plant (ETP) management and experience on RSC (Electrical & fire) CAP management.Experience in new project management, project development, machine erection and operation.
• Responsible to the proper preventive maintenance of all machines to avoid breakdown of maintenance.
• To ensure that all safety measures are taken to ensure the safe operations of the machines and people working in the machines are safe.
• Responsible to monitor all electrical connection and load distribution is under sharp periodical observation and to take immediate initiatives if there is any possibility of risk.
• Capable to directly handling Govt. & Non Govt authority for any kind of inspection & verification.
• Capable to handle inspection such as ACCORD (RSC), Technical Audit, Boiler inspection, BERC related works should have extra priority.
• Sound Knowledge on estimating, budgeting for electro mechanical items, machineries as well as project.Keep proper register of the maintenance work under the head of each machine.
• Ensure that spares are considered to take special care and keep up-to-date information of replacing spares.Responsible that factory is not storing spares excessively and also ensures the correct estimate of spares requirement.
• Ensure the cleanliness of every machine’s around, inside and outside.Make the monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and yearly maintenance schedule and confirm their execution.Sound knowledge on compliance issues and responsible to all electrical & mechanical installation according to compliance requirement.
• Sound knowledge on knit composite machineries erection and installation.
• Should have knowledge on boiler, generator substation maintenance.
• Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs of electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in machinery and control systems.
• Ensure timely response to breakdowns and emergencies to minimize downtime.
• Preventive Maintenance with develop and implement the schedules for electrical equipment.
• Maintain records and maintenance activities and ensure compliance with standards.
• Assist in the installation, commissioning, and testing of new electrical equipment.
• Recommend and implement system upgrades to improve efficiency and performance.
• Compliance and Safety issues able to ensure all electrical systems comply with safety and regulatory standards.
• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments for electrical installations.
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, equipment logs, and incident reports.
• Provide regular updates to the senior engineer/manager on equipment status and maintenance plans.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to resolve multidisciplinary issues.
• Train and guide junior technicians in electrical maintenance practices.
• Others work need to do assigned by the management.
