  • Experience: Minimum 7-10 years in marketing and sales within the food processing, frozen foods, snacks, or FMCG industries.
  • Network & Industry Knowledge: Strong connections in the foodservice, retail, and distribution sectors
  • Proven Track Record: Experience in launching and scaling new food product categories or expanding market share in a competitive space.
  • Strategic Leadership: Ability to create and implement growth strategies and lead teams to success.
  • Negotiation & Relationship Management: Strong skills in B2B sales, deal-making, and account management.
  • Results-Oriented & Analytical: Ability to track market trends, analyze data, and achieve sales targets.

Responsibilities & Context

About Taste Bangladesh: Taste Bangladesh is a new and ambitious food brand, dedicated to delivering high-quality, locally processed frozen food products. As part of our expansion, we are launching a premium frozen French fry line and are looking for a Head of Marketing & Sales to lead this exciting new category. This role will be instrumental in developing the market, building strategic partnerships, and positioning our product as a leading choice for restaurants, catering services, wholesalers, and supermarkets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Development: Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy to establish Taste Bangladesh’s frozen French fries as a top-tier product.
  • Sales & Distribution: Build and grow relationships with fast-food chains, restaurants, catering companies, wholesalers, and supermarkets to drive product sales.
  • Brand & Product Strategy: Lead brand positioning, marketing campaigns, and product awareness initiatives.
  • Business Development: Identify new sales opportunities, explore potential export markets, and develop strategic partnerships.
  • Pricing & Promotion: Develop competitive pricing strategies and promotional plans to maximize market penetration.
  • Customer Engagement: Work closely with chefs, restaurant owners, and food service buyers to demonstrate product quality and gain market share.
  • Sales Team Management: Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team to execute business objectives.
  • Market Research & Insights: Stay updated on market trends, competitor strategies, and consumer preferences to refine sales and marketing approaches.
